What kind of training did you receive? Are you certified? 

​    - I have attended doula workshops through DONA and am working towards receiving my certification through them.

​HOw do you describe your “doula style” 

    - My main goal is to connect with my clients and create an atmosphere that suits them best. 

Do you need a lot of vocal encouragement and cheerleading? Then I am your girl! 

Do you prefer a quiet space with dim lights and your favorite comfort music playing? Then let me bring my speaker and sit in your corner with you. We will meet and discuss your ideas and preferences and make a plan to bring it to life.

Do you attend hospital births? Home births? Birthing center births?

    - my job is to support you no matter the location. I go where you go. I am comfortable in hospitals, homes, and everything in between.

What do you do if I get an epidural? have a c-section? 

     - it’s your birth. Whether you have it medicated, natural, or end up using emergency procedures I will be offering you the same support throughout it all.

What can I expect at a home visit 

    - Home visits are where we discuss the nitty gritty of giving birth and what it means to have a doula. 

we will talk birth plans, relaxation techniques, and back up medical plans.  We will also go through resources for parents and babies for before, during, and after child birth.
